AV Equipment for staff/faculty

Staff and faculty can borrow small AV equipment (cameras, adapters, OWLs, etc.) for short periods of time directly at the Innovation Commons, on a first come, first served basis. We no longer offer booking options.

Equipment for events (podium, PAs, microphones) require an IT ticket with at least 2 days in advance.

E-Resources Emergency Contact

Yukon University Library doesn't have computer support on weekends or when the Library is closed, but Askawayers can contact the library if any database is down. E-mail library@yukonu.ca or agoncalves@yukonu.ca. Add the following information:

  • Description of the issue; time; date; databases accessed; browsers tested
  • Before contacting the emergency contact, please confirm that this is a system-wide outage, and not an issue with an individual computer. Please test the issue yourself, and ask your colleagues in Campfire to check and confirm.

Other Resources

Database access for members of the public or government staff

Members of the public or government employees wishing to access research databases can either visit the YukonU Library in person or check for other database availability with Whitehorse Public Library, EMR Library, or the Yukon Public Law Library.

We are not able to provide remote access for patrons who do not have a current YukonU ID number.

Department of Health and Social Services staff can check for access to health databases with Yukon Hospitals.
