How to borrow

Students can borrow laptops and AV items directly at the Innovation Commons front desk.

Laptops and AV materials are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

How to return

All books, CDs & DVDs can be returned to the book drop located at the Main Entrance, by the Welcome Centre, or at the book drop bin at the Innovation Commons front desk.

Distance students and patrons in the communities: use the return label shipped with the item to return it to the Ayamdigut campus. Items must arrive before due date.

All laptops and AV items can be returned to the Innovation Commons front desk.

Please note: AV equipment cannot be renewed.

Equipment available for borrowing

Dell Laptop
  • Loan period: 7 Days, no renewals
  • Overdue charges: $10/day
  • Please note: All files are deleted every time the laptop shuts down.
  • Students must save files to Office 365 or OneDrive (instructions shown on the page attached to the laptop).
Laptop Charger
  • Loan period: 7 Days
  • Chargers can be provided if students wish to borrow the laptop for longer than 4 hours.
Laptop Mousse
  • Loan period: 7 Days

 

Extension Cord
  • Loan period: 7 days
For Apple Devices
  • Loan period: 4 hours
  • Items available: Lightning to 30-pin Adapter, Apple lightening to headphone jack adapter, Apple lightening to USB adapter, Multi-port adapter, HDMI to Apple cable

  • For connecting your device (ie. laptop) to one of the screens in the study rooms.
